Below differentiate Error, Bug, Defect and Inspections

  • Error: Programmatically mistake leads to error.
  • Bug: Deviation from the expected result.
  • Defects: Problem in algorithm leads to failure.
  • Inspections: Inspections is forma meeting which is per-planned activity. The Inspection may happen any time during the project phase. This may include the developers, testers, managers and even the client.
